Looking forward to it!
USA Network’s upcoming medical drama Rush is bulking up its cast.
Harry Hamlin and Rachel Nichols will recur on the hourlong series starring British actor Tom Ellis, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Victoria Smurfit (Dracula) and Jesse Luken (Justified) also will guest-star.
Rush, the latest scripted offering in USA’s move to edgier fare, centers on Dr. William Rush (Ellis), a hard-partying “medical fixer” who privately caters to L.A.’s elite and oftentimes less-than-squeaky clients. But his services come with a hefty price tag.
Smurfit and Luken will guest-star in the second episode as Isabel Thoreau, a celebrated life coach/blogger, and Troy Huntsman, an up-and-coming MMA fighter, respectively.
Hamlin, who next stars in Shiva & May with Jessica Biel and Zosia Mamet, is repped by Paradigm and Luber Roklin. Nichols, currently starring in Continuum, is repped by UTA and Management 360. Smurfit, who recently starred in Dracula, is repped by UTA and Silver Lining Entertainment. Luken, whose credits include Justified and Star-Crossed, is repped by Greene & Associates and Tash Moseley Management.
